Its been 5 years since I've had to come in here. The lady said its gonna be a 2 year wait to re-new my license. I asked if there was a way to get through quicker. She said, well there's only 2 people in line to get an enhanced license but you have to have proof of citizenship. Luckily I'm an idiot and brought mine just to re-new my license so now I'm getting my edl to. Save time in this shithole
 
Is the EDL the id that let's you cross into Canada without having to provide a blood and tissue sample? I'm not looking forward to going in there in a few weeks :(

It's to get home not there. Either way same thing.
 
I've got to renew my license in two weeks maybe ill go the edl route as well. The DMV here in Walla Walla isn't usually to busy.
 
friend of mine has an enhanced drivers license and isnt allowed in some of the bars in Cheney because his ID is oreiented vertically instead of horizontally :lol:

I've never had a horizontal license. I get funny looks sometimes but never been refused service

Were you just exaggerating or is there some info I'm missing here? The DMV around here is nothing (well, they don't really have "DMVs" in Michigan anymore, it's just the Secretary of State office). I go in, wait in line maybe 5, 10 minutes at the most, and then I'm done. If it's just tags I'm done in less then 2 minutes usually.

I sold a car recently and couldn't find the title, and I just walked in to the SoS office, showed them my registration, and they printed me an instant official title, all in less then five minutes. It's quite impressive actually...

I've got an EDL, but mine is oriented vertically like a normal license...
 
i renewed my license last month. in and out of the MVA express in like 20 mins.

Deffinatly exaggerating. Washington is just really terrible with our dmv's and dol's. Before you could do tabs online it would be a min 20 minutes to gvet tabs around here

You mean physically go to the DMV to renew? I do that shit online, fuck standing in line for three hours in a room with a busted AC, filled with "undocumented" residents that didn't bring anything they needed.

they just mail you a new license with the same pic?

here you have to go there so they can take a new pic. renew every 5 years.

Yip. I think at some point you have to renew the pic, maybe every other renewal, or third.
