I was led to belive that if you have a grinding noise that goes away when te clutch is push in, then you have a bad throw out bearing. I replace that as well as installed a new exedy stage one clutch. I still have the grind that goes away when the clutch is pushed in. What now

did you have any lips or scrapes on your input shaft?
that is just the opposite of what happens
no noise when clutch pedal is not pressed but noise when clutch pedal is pressed is probably throwout bearing if clutch is properly adjusted - before clutch pedal is pressed, the throwout bearing is just sitting there doing nothing, if the clutch is properly adjusted, so it can't make a noise - when you depress the pedal and engage the throwout bearing with the pressure plate, the throwout bearing starts spinning and if bad will make noise
noise when clutch pedal is not pressed and goes away when clutch pedal is pressed is probably the input shaft bearing in the transmission - when clutch pedal is not pressed, the input shaft on the transmission is spinning with the clutch disc and bad input shaft bearing will make noise - when clutch pedal is pressed, the clutch disc and input shaft stops spinning and the noise goes away
time to replace the input shaft bearing, which means removing and disassembling the transmission

probably needs clutch adjustment if it has a cable clutch - if hydraulic, could need bleeding or new slave/master cylinder or it could need a new clutch
