Watch the news tonight, said it was an F5 and it was what most call a "multiple vortex tornado". I guess small tornadoes form inside the larger tornado....

tornadoes are one of my greatest fears.. i will never live in tornado alley
 
^ I wish they gave some sort of reference information for that. Aren't the squares of land between those two (vertical) roads one mile?
 
Another round of storms hit last night....
and the Weather guy says today will likely see some more death and destruction.

the mid west is going to get owned this year :(

looking at google maps, it looks like it is about a mile. theres a path about 6 miles long of damaged houses, etc. on google maps. thats one hell of a tornado
