Hilarious, but nothing wrong with the engineering of the car, just shitty driving. Driver should have cut the corner knowing how heavy the damn thing is over that long ass wheel base while driving over a sharp peak.. Look at how thick the drivers door is when opened just to protect it at all angles. Thats some over engineering if anything right there.

Arent they supposed to test for things like that?

The sounds in this video are excellent.

*Scrape
Crowd: Ohhhh... YAYAYAYAYAYAYA
*FUCKING CLANG
Crowd: OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.................................................................................... LoLOLolLOOLloLLOl

Just a case of dumbass driver. Clearly he needed more speed to clear it.

Maybe it's a sign that the ass clown needs to stop globe trotting, go back to DC, and do some fucking work.

Is it just me, or does he travel more than the last 3 presidents combined?

I am surprised that the presidents limo isn't a little more hooked up. Like a bagged suspension, something to add a little ground clearance. I would think they should have something that could handle a little evading if needed.

It would be nice in a recession if he could stay put to save some of our tax dollars.

I feel like he stole someone's identity and he's just jet setting until he gets caught.

It's designed to be more of a bunker when the SHTF.

I guess the 'Chauffeur' section of the image isn't quite accurate though. :p

look at the front wheel gap before and after the loud clang
sounds like something broke
i wouldn't be surprised if it did have adjustable air suspension and it blew a line or something for the front, maybe too much pressure trying to raise that 5" steel plate to clear that hump

the link on your first post had 2 different angles
i got it to work, lol

Actually, after watching this angle more, I think it was some kind of security measure...

At 0:05 or so, the front wheels forcibly retract and actually lift off the ground even before the frame hits the curb...

I'm betting it was the sudden change in angle along with the quick drop back down... The nose goes up, then starts to come down, and bam... Some kind of security measure kicked in to prevent the car from being flipped over, like in a riot. The motion was like the limo was being rocked by hand.

Freaking thing went into siege mode.

yeah i seen that i was thinking the air had something to do with it, maybe not now i think about it. that passenger side wheel gets up there in a hurry lol

turtle turtle

other websites are talking about a broken torsion bar, but for a cadillac limo to have a torsion bar in the first place would be highly unusual, but then it would need to break both torsion bars at the same time, not just one
potentially if it sheared off both bolts from the undercarriage at the same time, the torsion bars letting lose could bring the front wheel off the ground perhaps, but more than likely the car would just drop, not exactly what you see here in the second angle

i also found this post
Official report states that the car is armed should something touch the underside with any kind of force the car "lies down". Suspension retracts and underneath of car lies flat on the ground. It prevents tampering under car and unauthorised lifting etc.

i was wondering if anybody else had caught this.

imagine trying to crawl underneath to plant something and the car detects, that would suck,

lol at the vid though. i bet it scared the living shit out of that driver. not to mention to people in the back
