galaxy s issue

ever sincethe update to 2.2, my screen on/off button will turn on camera mode and do screen captures. anyone know how to turn this gay goddamn option off?

The article I just read states you have to hold the power button and home button at the same time to take a screen cap. So if you aren't doing that then you may want to do a reset maybe? I have just recently started dicking around with Android and I am unfamiliar with that family of phones anyway.

Screen caps went away with Froyo on the Galaxy S phones I thought... disabled mine.

Doesn't seem to have to do that. If I'm browsing facebook or even at my home screen I'll press the power button and it'll snap a screen shot. If I press it again it won't turn off, but it doesn't take another picture. Most of the time I just have to let it turn the screen off by itself. Still have found nothing on why it started doing this.

Edit: Found it I guess, hold the back button and then press the power button. Still don't know how it's doing it randomly because I'd never touched the back button. Guess I'll just have to stay away from the back button.
