Fuck everyone on that site that is hating on the 1g Insight. Along with the S2000 and maybe the CRZ are the only things I acknowledge from Honda, post 2000.

That would be a dope car for sure.
without the batteries, thing is light as hell, and super areo.... i bet its real fast 60-120 :)

That thing is awesome, wish I had that kind of money, I would scoop that up in a heartbeat.

what a bunch of douche bags over on that forum. they all started bitching and cluttering up the FS thread because he was getting a ton of views.

i like the car though, would make a nice DD for sure.

yeah, i pretty much hate all local forums.

the ones here are the same, no matter what you do, its garbage to everybody else.
our local forum everybody nutswings on the 2jz hard, but if you post a thread of it going into anything, your an idiot and are wasting that motor.

i like it! its not often you see something so different and so well done. looks completely oem, like it was made to have the k20. $10k is a lot of money though. gotta find the right buyer.

blasphemy

cool swap and it looks well done

but blasphemy none the less

i miss my insight :(

how is it blasphemy? the motor blew up. it's not like he ruined a 'perfectly good' car....

I'm surprised it's not popular(considering people do the same thing with CRX HFs); ultra light and aerodynamic chassis.

i wonder the mpg and if the a/c works.
i'd rather pay 10k for this one than 7k for one with close to 200k on the motor and electrical systems

Yes A/C works
45+ mpg highway (super light & really good aero)

yea, i thought he was the guy that worked at honda
probably not very negotiable on price, lol

I'd prefer for a stock one, but to each his own. Like everyone said though, probably a blast to drive.

i wonder what it runs in the 1/4? i bet its in the 13s easily. pretty awesome to get 45mpg and be that quick... and look completely stock. if it was more like $5-6k, I would seriously consider buying it.

i think its really reasonable for the price. you have to remember he bought two cars to make it. both where messed up, but still if it works and has no cell or emissions problems, hell if i was in the US right now id seriously consider that car over bringing my EK.

id say high 12 low 13 easy as a realistic run for that car. the cars weight will have increased slightly from the swap. then again without the battery cells. id say 2150lbs with a 180lbs driver. maybe a awesome launch and slicks.
