I have a 95 honda civic ex vtec automatic d16z6 engine and i wanna do an engine swap to get more hp but still keep it automatic. Can anyone help ? Thanks ! Ps: the tranny slips too do anyone know another auto tranny i can use or anyone in NYC who can rebuild ?

keeping the car automatic limits your possibilities
youre basically looking at swapping in another d-series
or an LS swap (b18b1)
any auto d-series tranny will work for a temporary replacement

And i do the swap to a b18 n use my original tranny ?

Low tranny fluid will cause slippage. An automatic tranny is a hydraulic machine that functions and is reliant on fluid.
Of course there is more to it than that, but it is a very common symptom.

If you go with an LS/b18 swap you will need a Bseries tranny as well.
Unless you want to deal with the headaches of adapters from d to b series.

Im tryna build the fastest auto civic around as a sleeper :) . I dont kno much so excuse the simple questions lol

Basically i kno i want over 200hp w/ a vtec . So i wanna kno the ways i can get the MOST hp out of an auto so i can go around beatin up on these german cars lol who wouldnt expect it :) lol

:concur:

Honda auto trannys are poop

I wouldn't bother swapping your engine. Your only automatic B-series transmission choice (that's readily available in the US anyway) is the Integra LS transmission, and it's not exactly geared for acceleration. I would just keep the D16Z6 that you already have and put together a turbo setup for it...

Could not have said it better myself. :D
