i have just purchased a 1990 accord, not sure of the motor thats in it, i just know it doesnt have enough power for me considering i also own a 00 prelude. i know its an F series of some sort so the mounts woud be good for another f or h series.
i was wondering if there is a k series swap out for this chassis? ( i know expencive and dreaming)
also, being a cable linkage what year motors should i be looking into a good fit to put into my junkyard dog?
comments please!!!

H22 would be the easiest. It's damn near the exact same thing as the F22 that's in it. Trannys are interchangeable and everything. Hasport does make a K24 mount kit for it if you use an Accord/TSX trans. My dream is a 92-93 K24 CB7 sedan. It's starting to get affordable.

nice, i apreciate the post's.
the k series is just a dream. i wonder how much $ it would cost to do.

92-95 h22 found $1500.... im guessing i will need a p28, engine mounts. Will i need a linkage or can i use the stock accord linkage? any other items required for this swap?

I think axles, tranny, linkage are all the same or you can use the stuff that is already on the Accord. I'd have to look up a write up but there isn't much you need to do the swap. ECU for sure, not sure which, and you'll need to wire it up for v-tec. I hate sending people o other forums but check out CB7Tuner for a write up. They will certainly have it.

thanx dude, i appreciate the forum jump. definately needed. if all i need is the motor, ecu and wiree the vtec, this swap will be soon
