Did you pre-read the text?

I did not and got like 52 words with 30 errors on the astronaut test, I did not use any punctuation or capitalization, not sure if that counts.

Next I did the baseball test with no pre-read and got 58 wpm with no errors. Only got about halfway through, using proper capitalization and punctuation.
 
47 adjusted with no pre-read and cold hands on the Astronaut test. :(
 
i'm at least twice as slow typing from reading vs typing from 'thought'. I did the tiger one.

30 words adjusted, originally it was 35 with 5 error, but those first few sentences were tricky as hell. I'm a poor speller and I tend to back space a lot if I screw up because I just can't keep going on with errors. Its like I stumble but then I end up falling over. :p

Edit: however since B did the tiger one and so did I. I got 44wpm average. Punctuation fucking kills me with all the , " - , . blah blah blah.

This is using the test subject. First time out I did 82 but with 4 errors, 2nd time I got this.

What's sad is I can't spell worth a damn, but when typing from mind, I can type a good bit faster then that. figure closer to 95wpm.

That might be why I always screw stuff up.

53 on the first try. kinda weird typing for an extended time and not having to press a $ or [] or {} or |, ya know.
 
I got 69wpm, and 0 mistakes on my first try on the Wizard of Oz one. The second and third time I did it, I slowed down. I'll have to try it again, when I haven't been up for 36 hours staring at a computer screen haha....
 
51WPM adjusted on "Astronaut". Didn't pre-read. Though, I'm in the same category as B, I type much faster from thought or verbal instruction than from reading. This is slower than when I was in HS if I remember correctly(I think I had around 70wpm).

I'm on my phone, but I know I can type a hell of a lot faster when Im drunk or pissed off. If I'm both, :eek: . And since I'm usually on my phone it auto corrects any errors most the time.
 
Screw you Civicious. I hope your computer gets stuck in mud, then bust into flames.
 
i cant type for shit when reading. much faster when typing from memory.

ill second the speed boost when drunk/angry lol.
