As the title states Im using a B18c type r in a 2000 honda Civic DX. Although Ive searched high and low I have found squat on this exact problem. What pump/hose combo do I use. This is my first post ever so be gentle.

I dont know that DC & EK powersteering assemblies are compatible.
DC & EG should swap over.

I recently did almost the same swap but into a 2000 ex, we used the type r power steering pump and hose, and where it goes to hand line near the rack and pin, we cut it and used pressure fittings and attached the type r hose to the stock hard line

hope this helps

I would think that a B-series would hook up to the EK. It hooked right up to my EG pressure line with no problems and a 99/00 Si has a b-series pump. See if it fits

Ill try the 99/00 Si pump. Sound right to me. But the hose is different on the end of the DX. Although outrace1 has a good idea. There is no one around here that presses ends onto pressure lines. Would a Si hose work on my DX? Routing to rack?

What about a Del Sol VTEC? They are a different part number than the 99/00 Civic Si. Its the same number for OBD1 and OBD2 B16A3. A JDM OBD1 B series Pump might work too.

I was under the impression you were speaking of the steering rack as well.
