yep. he could have still gotten his message across without having to go full on insane like he did in this debate. and now with rick perry in the mix, i'm afraid its all over :(

4 more years of suck are just around the corner.

I wouldn't say she kicked his ass; it was basically a tie. Both of them had over 2,000 more votes than the next closes person(she had roughly 150 more votes than he did); and some consider her to have the hometown advantage in Iowa.

no one beat her and she is bat shit crazy...but you'd have to be bat shit crazy to vote for her too...what does that say about iowa.

i've met some people from Iowa.. not the brightest people.. lol

What part of that makes him insane? He was enthusiastic and not as articulate as he could have been but overall, I think the crowd responded very well

Thats because you like him.

watch it as someone from alabma, etc.

Wow. Having never seen him spoken before, I can't believe he got this far, he's not very talented at the art of persuasion. His words are sharp, his body language is horrible, and he makes me want to stop listening.

He speaks like the guy who stands in front of walmart shaking peoples' hands talking about how he is running as a write-in for the 2012 president.

I really just look at the actual message. If I wanted to hear someone good at persuasion, etc. I'd just talk to a salesman.

There's a fine line and I guess from another perspective, he crosses it.

FTR, I'm only a moderate fan. I wish there was someone more articulate and less aggressive to take the helm with the same ideals so we might actually have a realistic shot.

Unfortunately, you're right. :(

I don't get how so many people in the country pull the "Yeah he's got some cool ideas but there's this one thing! I won't vote for him!" card... How many politicians are out there where you agree with them 100%? :p

It's the same stupidity that people use when they say shit like "if we legalize pot, kids are going to smoke it, we can't let kids start smoking pot!!!!!!!", because we all know that no kids smoke weed, and it's a lot easier for them to just get a sixer.

For those that say it and actually have a clue, I'd venture to say that the ideas he has that they don't agree with are so radically opposed that yes, a single issue can skew their feeble minds. Take for instance his position on Iran, any thinking sane person realizes that Iran poses no threat to the US, other than maybe hurting someone in the State Departments feelings, but damnit if you don't think that we should be a step away from nuking them you must be some commie, pinko, librul.
