Alright swapping over b16a into a 91 ed
This is what I have done:
-dpfi to mpfi ( accidentally got the inj numbers backwards. No biggy)
- converted all obd0 plugs on the harness to obd1.( dizzy, alt, injector clips fit)
-dropped motor in hole everything mounts. No clutch in the tranny. Going to start it first to see that it runs ok. Current clutch is junk anyways.
Still need:
Obd0 to obd1 jumper
B series axles
Fluids
My questions: I no it is said there are some plugs in the stick dpfi harness that won't be used. But where the knock sensor is located there was a plug that fit. Is this incorrect? Do I need to add this to the harness?
2: for the 4 wire o2 sensor do I just run the wires from the provisions in the jumper to the sensor? Also will this setup only use one sensor? If so will I not use the stock one wire? I noticed my obd1 gsr header has two single wire sensors? That will be the header I use st first.

Any help on this will be appreciated. Thanks

ah, the jumper harness will have the wires for the o2. If it's obd1 it will have 4-wires for the o2. To me it sounds like somebody swapped that header into a car and kept it obd0. You'll need a different o2 to run obd1. Obd1 only has 1 o2 sensor and obd2 has two I believe, but they wouldn't both bee on the manifold, one would be near the cat I think.

OBD1 has one primary O2

Knock sensor and plug will need to come from the B16 and you will need to run a line into the cabin so it can be hooked up to the ECU. Maybe the jumper hanress has a wire ready to atttch to the knock sensor? If you are running a virgin ECU then you need the knock hooked up. It can be deleted with a chipped ECU

Ic so even a p28 looks for knock sensor?
