Hello everybody, this is my first post on here and would like to say HELLO! as well as ask a few questions as well as give a bit of background information on my engine

which is a VTEC not a VTECH lol

i bought the engine a few months ago 45k manual honda b16a1 DOHC from a crx del sol

1) i have read around the forum for about 2 hours now (unregistered) and i havent come to the conclusion which head flows best? the current head i have which is the standard one for the b16a1 or would a b18 head flow and work better on my b16 block?

2) i am after the b16A2 mounts but for the life of me i cannot find the cam cover side bracket that holds the engine mount anywhere and has anyone got a part number?

3) i have looked around various websites looking for a very short ITB manifold or even some information on running bike throttle bodies and a custom manifold jobby but with no luck i havent found anything that isnt hit and miss!

1)

Better flowing head? B18C1 and B16A......not enough differences to say one is the big big winner. But the stock B16 IM flows better than the stock B18C1 IM (although a Skunk2 IM can change that quick) Unless you are bumping up compression, building a big boy motor and such.....the argument is mute.

2)

So you have a mount for a CRX but need a B16A2 mount? The one that actually attaches to the block near timing belt?

Here is the part number 11910-P30-000BRACKET, ENGINE MOUNTING

ITB's??? Thats some serious dream you got. They can be tempermental and annoying. Trying to mod some crotch rocket TB's??? Yes I have seen it done but not a venture for the unexperienced. You change elevation....poop.....the cables stretch a little...poop....daily driving "can" be obtainable but most that run with ITB's don't daily drive.
