not sure if it's true or not but I heard on the news they are adding about 1 floor per week now.
Even with all the new technology and advances in construction, they still can't build as fast as they did back in the 30s.

Did they make 1000ft by 9/11? I can't find it anywhere if they made it. Which makes me think they didn't.
This is one job that the unions didn't screw up. The only workers allowed on it have to have immaculate track records and an attention to detail. And they have removed people from the job for attempting to cut corners or drag their feet to make the job last longer. They want this tower done right.blame the unions
he said workers with immaculate work records. ill never hate on the unions bc i work in one and make double what non-union people make doing the same job^ Is there such thing as a union with an immaculate track record?

unions have been around for alot longer than 20 years and there are alot of companies and employees thriving thanks to it. not all unions are good but for the most part everyone that works in a labor based trade want to be in a union. it forces employers to pay fair wages and treat employees right. that being said i dont work for a private company, i work for a city government in a wealthy city. ill be alrightand its reasons like this as to why companies go bankrupt.
wait 20 years, when your union company cant pay your benefits/pensions.
