Can't decide if this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen, or brilliant marketing. Probably a little of both. I've seen a few of these pop up within the city limits of Detroit in my travels for work, and I'm sure they are doing a killer business.

Think about it. You own a couple of run down dumps in the ghetto. Your clientele is 95% black and 100% stupid. Slap some blue paint on and put the presidents name on it. People flock there and probably think they're contributing to a campaign or something. You take your profits to your mansion in the suburbs.

In the ghetto. Pretty sure the one I took the pic of was on Shafer. I saw another one that was on Warren I think, over towards the Southfield Freeway. Both on the west side. I wouldn't go looking for them too hard. lol. Not areas I would frequent if it wasn't work related, for sure.

There really aren't any fields in the area where I would want to protest either. Plenty of burned out houses around though.

Edit: Just looked at the street sign in the first pic. Plymouth and Wyoming.
