i have a b18c1 i would like to do an n/a build to, but am unsure what to do or were to even start. can anyone help? parts list?

How many miles on the motor? Did it burn or leak oil? Compression test readings? Leak down test readings?

Rebuild if necessary, get rid of the 2 stage IM, get a quality header, get cams of your choice (research), get springs/retainers to match the cams accordingly (research), get pistons to raise the compression to suit the build specs (research), build a catch can/venting system...this is just some basics, the list can go on and on.

But once you're finished make sure you fill it with genuine Mugen VTEC Fluid. JDM adds approx. 15.46-17.21 WHP.

with high compression, big cams, quality bolt ons, engine management, and good tuning you can make 200-220whp, maybe more. a true build on a NA setup is NOT cheap for a relatively modest power increase of only 50-70whp over stock.

Dude, me personally would just rebuild, start over from scratch. depends on budget/future plans with the car. If you are serious about an N/A build for eternity. then just worry about the bottom end, JDM TypeR pistons ITR idk but, like 11.9:1 compression, then get a good set of headers&intake, maybe a tune, being as the factory tune is for economy/ stock restricted intake&exhaust systems maybe $1200/ now if you have atleast $4500 to spend then shit gets good. For that price you have, Cheap ol, itr pistons, stock rods, ported head, valve job, springs/retainers, good header. Possibly Some Cams? regardless I would do what you can to rebuild the bottom and, if you can afford Head work the more "Power" to you. If your budget is decent then Sleeve the block 10.2:1 compression (boost build) setup. All Motor for now, down the road should handle fine with a small turbo setup for years. for around $6200 you could have a decent reliable 12seconds daily driver. If your going N/A tho...- do everything you can to have a GooD Port on the Head! it's extremely needed on N/A not as much boosted applications.

Find a good machine shop in your area. Tell them what you want and take it from there.

Bottom line, it's about how much $ you want to spend. They are the one's that can best advise you on how to spend it and get the most bang for buck from your investment.

If they won't take the time and work up a bid for you to fit your needs, go to another shop - find one that will. Those are the people you will be working with.

search, or click the link to my old usdm gsr build I posted on here...parts list included!
