Hello, I am looking for parts to get my ef to pass the ref. I was waiting till something broke to start swapping parts, but the time is coming up for me to get new tags.
The alternator failed the other day and that was my clue to do it. I already bought a new alternator, now I just need the ECU, and Intake manifold. the exhaust can wait a few weeks, but if I came across one today I would probably just buy it and get it over with.

thanks, I know its been a pain. Do you know what the difference between a p28 and a p30 is? They are both OBD1 vtec ecu's. Will it not work to pass bar?

if you're BARing a b16 it has to be the USDM p30, look to spend $300 at the cheapest.. usually $350-375

If you still need a P30 I've got one. Before you get excited, it's technically a European spec BUT, the B16A2 over there from 92-95 is exactly the same specs as the 160hp US, not the 170hp JDM, and this one is rectangle like USDM.

I am going to look into the numbers once my buddy brings it to my house, and make sure that it will come off as a US one, but on looks alone it will.
