i have a 95 accord that died while driving. so far i have changed the timing belts, tensioners, water pump, fuel filter, plugs, wires, and distributor but i still have no spark. any help would be appreciated.

You have fuel but no spark?

I was going to say main relay but you said you didn't have spark so please be detailed on how you checked for fuel and spark.

correct. when the ignition is on i have fuel pressure. checking the old school way for spark by putting the plug in the boot and holding it close to the exhaust while turning over. not getting any kind of arc.

Well......let's see.

So you replaced all these parts after it stopped running or...?

Triple check all the grounds under the hood. Might be the issue.

yea replaced all afterwards. pretty sure all grounds are good because i have power to everything except plugs. i also have 12v running into the distributor at the coil.

check the coil for continuity, just cause ur getting power to the coil doesnt mean the coil is givng power to the plugs.

i did and it was good. plus im on coil #3 being that i changed the origional then put a coil in the old distributor then got a new distributor with the coil and icm included. i just bought a pcm. hopefully this will work.

so. after going back and rechecking every thing for the 30th time i finally found the issue! i went back and pulled the carpet up and was looking at the ecm and noticed one of the plugs going in was a little corroded. took a little file and cleaned it up and the car fired up perfectly. aint that a bitch. thanks for the help

Good you found it bro! Reading down through what had been done and advised, I was going to send you after fuse boxes and fuses.

All the work you did with regard to replaced parts is money in the bank. Preventative maintenance and long term type maintainence. Definitely of value.

When they break like that, all one can do is what you did. Systematically go through it piece by piece, connection by connection, wire by wire until ya find it.

There ain't no book that says if it has no spark, check the ECU plugs for corrosion. :)
