Good afternoon Michael,

The pipe diameter is 2.5" in to the muffler, and 3" out. It is the same for the aluminized as well.

Subject: WEBSITE Contact Page - Pipe size for Frontier?

What's the pipe diameter for PN S5406409? Is it the same for the aluminized
steel one?

Thanks!
Mike

Like $620 for the stainless, $480 ish for the aluminized. Not bad.

yeah the aluminized has same specs and performance just cheaper metal, hence the 3 year warranty, you get lifetime with the 409 stainless version...gotta have stainless here in CT...buy it from amazon if you do

Free shipping on Amazon? I have to wait though... might have to go custom on the exhaust- plus I want to hear your video.

Hmm, makes me think about getting an exhaust on my Xterra. I put a Volant cold air intake on it but its still so quiet unless you really get into WOT. The factory Y pipe is a joke, i cant believe how restrictive it looks, im sure its similar on the frontier.

Volant intake is next mod for me...then i'm going to get UPREV tune...from what i have read on Tital Forums i should pick up 30hp and about same on Torque from Exhaust, Intake and Tune..

Will get Vid up today

I had CAI on my powerwagon and it was super loud but it was k&n

Sounds good! Wish I could park my truck nose down though- would save a LOT of space on my driveway.

yeah i had a k&n intake on my old 3.3l xterra and it was louder than the volant is on my newer 4.0 liter Xterra. im sure its because of the enclosed air box design that volant uses. the volant gets loud and throaty at higher rpms though.

and to the OP, that exhaust sounds nice and mean! does it drone while cruising? seems fairly loud.

depends on the RPMs but to me its music and its not as bad as some of the other exhausts i have heard...i love the sound that comes out of these bad boys...no drone at all when higway driving

Damn that sounds nice, great choice!

thanks...once i get the intake...i'll get an UPREV tune and post the results...i won't have before numbers but the 07's pretty much run 285hp and 325tq to the wheels bone stock...i'm hoping for at least 310'ish hp 340ish tq to the wheels
