Damn thats faster than my home internet. What do you think so far? I am getting a new phone next month so a review would be nice.

Wifi connection? Those ping numbers look really damn low for a 4g phone connection.

I wanted to do a comparison to the Iphone 4GS(on ATT) with someone at work VS my Rezound(Verizon).

Here is what i can say.

Rezound has a nicer, brighter, clearer, display. Loading apps is faster...downloading and loading webpages is faster...and the kicker is...i'm sitting in ATT's corporate building so he has full service where I only have 2-3 bars.

I'm not sure how those people were getting those speeds...I do know they were running rooted phones with custom ROMS.

i tested my speed with 2 bars of service on the speedtest.com app and mustarded up over 10MBPS download and over 1MPS upload. I'm impressed with that. I'll try it again with 4 bars of service when i get home.

Damn. That's not bad at all. I am in need of a new phone, I'll have to check this out this weekend. Could you give your opinion on the battery life in the next couple of days as well?

i can tell you that its going to be like like every other smart phone with 4g... you should buy the extended battery, its going to suck with any kind of medium to heavy use...its fully charged now, going to bed, will post what it is when i wake up

my buddies wife has a 4g Verizon phone.. he said its faster than their home internet .. uses it as a hotspot and plays xbox live sometimes

woke up today at 7am est...battery was half dead ...i must also add that the phone was off the charger last night for alil over an hour already when i made that post.

I would tweak all of your sync settings if it is dying that quickly. That seems fast even with 4G. Or root it and thow CM7 on there if its available

i turned off GPS tracking, Wireless and 4g and ran the same test...had 90% of my battery just it just lying there 10 hours...much better

I've been thinking about getting this phone since I'm eligible for an upgrade. I don't listen to music from my phone much at all, but hows the battery when listening to music?

With my Incredible+CM+Evo battery, I get about 2 days of battery life with moderate use(mainly facebook/texting). It seems like making calls makes the battery drain faster.

I listen to an hour of my book + 3 hours of YouTube vids and pandora and music app with beats by dre running and it was about redlined from a full battery.....you definitely need the extended battery... don't get a cheap one either, get OEm battery

Side note, just realized that there is no HDMI out which is a bummer... you have to buy the adapter which would be a pain to carry around.....

with the size of the new droid phones out there i'm surprised it doesn't have an HDMI cable spooled up in it.

phones generally dont have a full size hdmi outs on them... so youd need to carry around a mini/micro to full size adapter or a cable with a mini/mico on one end and a full size on the other any way
