Ok after doing some research I have decided to build my current engine instead of doing a b series swap.

The problem I have is that this is my first import to where I am even capable of building the engine up.
I have a 1994 Del Sol si D16z6 all stock, my question is what are the necessary parts in my engine to replace. I know camshaft, camgear, pistons, connecting rods, but I know that is a short list of parts. Which parts should I buy brand wise that will give me the best performance.

Also I am typing this up on my phone so I may have left some stuff out.

Your building a motor for what?

Boost? N/A? can't give u parts till you tell us what your goals are as each part preforms differently...

Well I dont really go to the track or anything, mainly i would like to see my del sol have faster acceloration and top end, I know I wont reach 130+ in most circumstances but i have raced acura 3.2 tl and kept up some what, but when i hit 110mph i end to bog out and take forever for me to get to 120mph. I also am eventually going to install a turbo in my car.

Current things in my shopping car are:
Skunk2 70mm throttle body
Skunk2 proseries intake manifold
Skunk2 cam gear(have questions about using this)
Skunk2 camshaft
Stage 4 6puck clutch
New cylinder head(stock rebuilt)

Why not a simple turbo kit? Can be done for fairly cheap, and yields far better gains than the parts list you have there.

Because I have a tick in my engine, which has 190k miles on it...so before I put a turbo on my engine just to have it blow up I would like to have better parts and rebuild it then put a turbo on.

Then I wouldn't worry about putting anything on that engine until you rebuild the bottom end and have the cylinder head checked out.

Seriously though, the best bang for your buck will be through a simple turbo setup.

Here is a very light build.. Most would agree with me it should work fine...

Get your head check out for cracks ect,
Buy some stainless steel Valves, Springs and retainers to renew your head.
AEM / Skunk 2 Cam Gear
Felpro Gasket Set
ARP Head Studs
Veltera Pistons - will take I beleive upto 400hp no problem... ether way the gives you a decent bottom end piston for ya bang
Scatt Conecting rods
A good Piston ring kit
ACL or king engine barrings
get the crank Knifed
DSM 440 injectors

then buy a simple turbo kit with Hondata s300 or something tuneable

and you'd proably have a 300ish HP Del Sol.... just my opion

I think what he meant was Suzuki Vitara pistons. They are cheap and very effective in the D series motors. They are forged and teflon coated for wear protection. I used these pistons in my setup made to run 30 psi. I blew the turbo before it made 30 pounds. Get them with the FJ R Spec custom length rods. A good website for these upgrades is FJ Distributors. They will help you with every question you may have.

And btw, people have broken the 600 hp mark with these piston/rod combos.

eh... been awhile but totaly agree with the above and yes the pistons u mentioned r the ones... thanks for the fix!
