Hi all...

First of all i am new in this forum. I dig the forum to find a good full B18C swap into EG civic with step by step process and pictures... I have been up and looking good thread for 5 hours, but honestly could not find any useful info... I've got 1992 honda civic SI HB with d16z6... & i am going to put b16a2 or b18C engine in it. My uncle has shop. It will be easy for me. All i need to know some one's experience whom have got done with this issue recently. Sorry for taking your time but i really need to know all about how to do it easy. If you guys help me to detour in a right thread with step by step process w/pictures posts... B18C should be your choice...not a B16 (too little torque)

For ease and less hassle, get a OBD1 motor with sensors and the whole 9 yards.
B18C is an all around great swap....even the trans is nice and superior to the others IMO

B series shift linkage and axles

If you get a JDM motor, you need to use your old engine harness (LHD versus RHD) but you will need to extend a few plugs to reach the sensors on a bigger motor but they all plug right up. And The JDM B18C has no oil pressure sensor for VTEC like USDM so you run into other mods if you use a USDM ECU (easier just using the JDM)

You also must run the wiring for the IAB's and knock sensor (do some research)

In general......it's an easy swap but I suggest you do some more research and then ask specific questions. More people will be wanting to help if you dont seem to be a wanna be nOOb who will never swap (and we get TONS of those guys here)

so according to your words, it will be best and easy swap to chosee b18c into eg. What i understand is, b18c will be working by it self without having cut your factory harnesses ( except couple of them ) and how about my linkcage, shifters, ac system, axels, and specific engine ecu and engine mount. Do you guys have list of all this part for b18c swap into eg? And also thank you so much for your help

Brother thank you fckn so much bro. That was i was lookin for:) i am so happy right now. My tools and knowledge was useless without this. Thanks again. And also i want to get some more info about your SC how did you did it. How much did it coast. What is hp increase. I you can give me some info that would be more than awsome :) i am so jelous guy. When you guys get done with shits i was so stress full about when i am going to buil one . Now it is my turn :)I will start doing it at the and of the march

I said B18C was the right choice (but this is just my opinion)

EASIER......I said OBD1.

A/C bracket off a CRV B20 (PJ7) or Del Sol VTEC (P30) and use your stock compressor

Power Steering......I used a JDM B16 PS pump but I cannot verify what others work.

Already said B series axles and shift linkage (direct fit into your chassis)

The s/c took the car from 165ish whp to 240ish whp. It was very reliable, power was on tap at any rpm, and it could spin the tires at almost any time in 1st and 2nd gear. I feel that any more power is too much for a little civic.

Sounds crazyy mann.... I want to do same thing... Can you tell me more about SC... Plus, Can i Have different stage1 or 2 cam shaft with this SC? Plus, did you setup HONDATA With your SC ? Or can i Setup Stage 2 Camshaft with SC and hondata? /// Thanks for now...

And and and . . .Also I have one more Question... I have seen you guys are using Integra Radiator.... But if i want to use my AC. How am i going to stick this big as* Radiator on my front supporter? Can i use some kind of Aluminum thick radiator instead of using Big As* Integra Radiator?

You can use your stock radiator or you can run an aftermarket one the same size as stock, such as a Mishimoto.

Thank you so much. It is a really helpfull information... I have checked them. They are expensive. I will be using my own radiator for now.

Just curious what ac belt you used, the one for the d-series since it's a d compressor, or did you use a b-series ac belt because you have a b-series A/C bracket? Can get confusing, so just wanted to know what belt you used to know what will work.

Hi I've got 92 honda civic hatchback with a b18c vtec they took the powere streering out and the ac what core condensed and compressor do I need to look for was just going to buy a used one from a junk yard any help will be appreciated

Your set up (1992 Civic) is old school R12 freon. Parts need to be out of a 1992 or some 1993. Not out of a newer EG or you will need to replace the entire system out for a newer R134A style AC system.
