Hey guys new to the community here. Doing my first build and currious to what kind of power I'm looking at
Here's what I have
Gsr head
B18a block bored to 82mm
B16 high comp pistons
Manley rods
Skunk2 stage 2 tuner series cams
Exedy stage 1 clutch
DC 4-2-1 1 piece headers
Blox intake manifold
Aem cold air
Msd ignition
Vision cam gears
2.5 piping all the way
70mm throttle body
P30 spoon chip ecu
Think that's about it. Granted I get some good tuning once it's all finished. Any ideas about the hp though.

you going to run 93 octane i assume? with good tuning you should be able to get into the 190-200whp area. i would not worry about the msd ignition, you dont need it. and look into a better header... the Tri Y style or Rmf replica narrow style will make more power than your old DC sports.

Cool thanks man. Well these r all the parts I already have just waiting to put it together. My hommie is the one with the know how he's just laggin bad. I've had all the parts just sitting in his garage for about 2 months now. So ready. I was gonna do the rmf but damn that s**ts expensive. Heard it would scrape bad in my ef hatch too. Heard the tri y would be even worse. Would the p72 ecu be better then the b16's

doesnt matter which ecu you use, it will have to be tuned regardless. you cant just run around on a built motor using a stock or "chipped" ecu. it will NOT run at its full potential, and it might just blow up. for the love of god, get it dyno tuned, or at least street tuned by someone that knows what they are doing.

Someone told me I'd be at about 220

i doubt it, but if you have excellent tuning it could be possible. most of the guys that are in the 220+ whp range with B series are running 2.0 liter bottom ends and have really put a lot of time in on the dyno trying different parts and setups. you will never see close to this with the header you have now. many are running e85 for fuel too. even on pump gas you may find that you need to upgrade your injectors for this build.

Awesome thanks man. Yeah I know to get it tuned. That's like the main thing to have done. I have to drive about 60+ miles for some good tuning. I have nothing in my shit hole town. Thanks again I can tell u know your shit.

from my experience and through all the research i did about JRSC builds before i did my own, I can tell you that whether you have a GSR, type R, lsvtec, or b20vtec setup, you will max out in the mid 200s for whp. the most psi the blower likes without a LHT cooler on it is about 8lbs, when i tried to go to 10 i had heat problems. theres another guy on here 99sidude i think is his name, that had a jrsc on bone stock gsr motor and made about 240whp. I had one on a built b20vtec with relavtively low compression (9.6:1) and made about 250whp. The supercharger seems to like compression and if i ever did another jrsc build i would go for 11:1 i think. the supercharger is great for daily driving, feels super fast, probably feels faster than it actually is, but the roll-on power is amazing. to give you some reference, my 2600lb integra ran 13.2 at 106mph on only 7lbs and 230whp. i never got 1/4 numbers on it after retuning and getting more power. the jrsc just makes great down low power and the torque curve is ridiculous flat for a little 4 cyl motor.

all that being said, i sold my jrsc to go to turbo (like most people do). but i did it primarily because my integra is just a toy and i got bored. if it was more of a daily driver i would definitely stick with the blower, its just more easily driveable and more fun to drive in traffic, and somewaht more reliable. my car is faster now sure, but its a monster. normally when i drive it i get most of my enjoyment from the turbo spool sound and blowoff sound than i do the actual driving experience lol.
