im looking to run a stock boosted ls but not sure on the ecu can i keep it stock ecu and tune it with chrome or what please let me know thanks

Wassup everyone I got a 92 civic eg hatch back wit a d16zc sohc v tec im swapping out for a 92 95 b16a and I would like to kno wat I will need . i have motor.and trans but I think ill need axles and a shift linkage and half shaft and ecu so my question is is this all I need . What year and make and model should I get the doner parts from thanks :confused:
 
dont just jump in my thread lmao anyways matt if i get everything for turbo setup can i just use my stock ecu and tune it with chrome its a stock ls motor only looking to run about 10lbs of boost lmk thanks
 
You need to have it chipped/socketed. Then you can have someone tune it on CROME, uberdata, neptune, etc.

It also needs to be an OBD1 p75
 
im sorry could you explain the chipped and socketed part and so i would have to get a OBD1 p75 and a OBD2 to OBD1 harness correct?

Correct. OBD2>OBD1 harness, and you'll need to have someone chip your ECU. Basically enable it to have a different fuel map put on it other than the stock map.
 
hey matt im looking to get a GSR head to put on my stock b18 block if i do this what do i have to do to make this head work right?
 
I am in the process of doing that now. VTEC conversion kit, VTEC water pump, oil pump, timing belt, head studs, and wire the VTEC solenoid.

All of these things at the very LEAST.
