Hi all. So I am not too savvy when it comes to cars but I do know that my excessive oil leak on my 94 Accord came hard and fast. After starting my car the other morning I soon noticed a pool (literally) of oil under my car. I had to drive it to work cause, well, cause I need my job, but it was a steady (and i mean steady) stream of oil leaking. My car is about 1 inch lowered so I originally thought it was the oil pan. Nope it looks fine. My guy looked at it and said the oil looks like its coming from the top so we replaced the valve cover gasket. No help. Do you think its the oil pump?

Well, it is hard to say without actually seeing the car. You're not going to be able to properly diagnose it without getting underneath the car and taking a look.

Exactly. It's hard for us to tell you exactly where a leak is coming from even with a picture.

One quick thing to check though is that there is only one seal on the oil filter. Sometimes the old one doesn't come off with an oil change and it'll cause it to leak like hell.

Good call Matt. I've seen that a few times before. You gotta make sure that shit is cleaned up real nice before putting your new oil filter on.

Jack car up, Degrease/clean the block, start car, check for where the oil is coming from, and replace what is needed
