I'd say the first thing you need to do for some mild performance is unblown the engine. I/H/E, suspension, brakes, some dope air freshener, and a couple stickers should do the trick.

daily driver want get it up and going bought the car the engine was already removed didnt know it was a vtec so i got an engine but its a 98 non vtec so i was wondering head swap or find a vtec 1.6 to put back thats why i was asking is there any cheap starter must dos while im in the engine is out will 1.6 vtec head fit on 2.2. vtec engine i have a lot of parts and have heard of some swaps but need to what works with what i proboly spend 2k in parts i can do all the work myself

if that "dohc 1.8 integra head" is a vtec head then take your b16 intake manifold and put it on that head then go read the "how to build a reliable ls/vtec" and have fun. there you go. spoon fed.
