hi there just wondering if someone can tell me what i all need to put a 95 b18c1 engine into a 2000 civic hatch cx. i have the complete engine, wiring harness, ecu, altenator, shift linkage, etc. i would like to know how to do the wiring and any other things i would need.

I've looked and every one that has info has many different ways and I just want to know what the best route to go with, with the stuff I have.

Since your engine is OBD1, the best way to do this would probably be to get a harness from a SOHC VTEC 92-95 Civic. It'll have the plugs for VTEC, correct plugs for the dizzy and alternator, etc. From there you can just plug it in to your ECU and it'll also plug into your car.

Isn't the 2000 Civic a one pice harness from sensors to ECU? I thought he needed to make the one in the chassis work or get a 96-00 Civic EX one piece harness??

yah this is why im confused with the wiring cause everyones telling me something else so i just need to know forsure what it is i need to do

Simple swap search for the info. You should be using a 96+ B18C1 motor to make the swap easier.
You can just make a Vtec sub harness and swap the OBD2 injector plugs for OBD1 injector plugs and convert the Civic to OBD1 and have it tuned.
