Someone help me here. its gonna be my daily driver but i also want to put a built engine into it... ANYONE? all the feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Brakes, suspension components and such perhaps. But if you're going to upgrade those as well I agree. Find a cleaner coupe, hatch, or teggy and build from there. That could save you a couple grand or more (especially over the Type Rs.)

Well i know this guy that is selling this integra for 5200$. it has a turbo running 6lbs of boost. its clean... what do you guys think?

If you are going to replace the engine anyway, then why spend the extra on the Si?

Im just curious of what i should do. i might want to use the si tranny and si engine.

im new to this engine swapping. i wanna put a rsx engine in an integra. is that even possible?

The Integra you put up looks pretty nice and if you now for a fact the guy built it right with quality components it could be worth the asking price (though a lower offer never hurts. ;) )

Its a doable build, costly, but doable. If you wanna go that route I definitely suggest finding a good clean LS or GSR to start with rather than a Type R. That swap has been around and done enough that you can find everything you'd need to know/purchase/fabricate to get it done on the net. Try looking up some builds and stuff on this and other reputable sites.

i may have to snagg this car. even if the engine is fucked up. i could allways fix it. its allready good to go you know. its a daily driver and get 33 mpg. plus 91 octane is allmost 5 bucks here in san diego so i need the high mpg. i may even take the turbo off.

Question. Would it be fast if i put the rsx engine in the integra?

Meh, leave the turbo. A transmission/gear swap would do you better. Idk what it has in it but LS trannys have a nice tall fifth gear for cruising.

It would be fairly quick (by four banger standards) but not so much fast. Quick=Acceleration rate, Fast=Top Speed. If you want to K swap a chassis that'd make for a nice reliable yet quick car maybe look into an EG or EK hatch. Much lighter cars that can make more of a N/A K series build. CAFROG made a nice thread about his experience K swapping his 92' Si hatch that you should check out. https://hondaswap.com/hybrid-eg-ek-dc/cafrogs-k20-r-egg-519537/

i will check it out. i do want a hatch, but i love the love the body style of the integra. its just sexy.

I agree. But the hatches have really grown on me. Hell I used to dislike the looks of the 99-00 Si until I bought one. lol Honestly, I didn't like any Hondas before I got mine. I hate my 00' for other reasons now, but they're only 50% Hondas fault.

Oh and BTW, try not to double post the same subject and try to find the proper section to post them in. I didn't notice it at first, but you'll catch a lot of shit for it. ;)

Well i dont like any hondas over 2000, but i do like the 02 civic hatch. they are clean. but i might get a 00 hatch or a 00 integgy. im leaning towards this black integra that i just posted a picture of.:)

If it gets 33 mpg with the turbo, then why bother taking it off? Just don't romp on it all the time. And premium might be expensive, but typically it's only 20 cents or so higher than regular gas, so is it really that much of an issue?

That's a vague question. There are two RSX motors, the base and the Type-S. Either would be an improvement over say, a stock LS motor, but the turbo'd LS is probably faster. It's not exactly a cheap swap either...

Thanks Double0si and BrutalB83. you guys have helped me alot.

BrutalB83... your right, its very expensive for the swap i want. but would it be worth it? thats what im trying to ask. since i see tons of swaps done online. but no one has really said if they are happy or not.

I was thinking about that. thanks WHEELIES!

always happy with a k swap but you can get just as much hp with a b series and it will be way cheaper

Explain yourself further please. The initial cost of the motor is higher, but K-series is much more responsive to mods...even bolt-on mods...
