Don't fuck with the little black hatch!
Big changes sense last logged in!

So where to start! It's been a while and the hatch has been 100% gutted and rebuilt restored from the ground up! She's got tube chassis front end, disk rear conversation, built for boost motor, true drag race bucket seats with legal harnesses, tucked shaved and glossed engine bay, all body work done and fresh paint, all new everything in suspension including 4 point drag and link bar, three point stabilizer bars, dual wal bros, neptune demon v2 RTP ecu, custom harness cabin and bay, 750rc injectors, turbotonics turbo, love fab ram horn manifold, digital dash with ez tune touch screen, bluetooth to ecu from tablet real time data logger and engine performance monitoring, powder coated black j1 spec wheels track only edition, too much more to list I'll post pics soon as I can!

How do i upload ride pics?

I don't think you can upload attachments until you're out of greenhorn status. Until then, just upload them to an image hosting site such as imageshack, photobucket, etc. and link them to this thread.

^ Very nice. How does it run? Engine run clean, no smoke and such? Are wheels on the horizon?

Send me a PM and I'll send you my email address if you want. Send me the pics and I'll put them up on your thread here.

ya she runs very smooth and pulls hard, have Vtec sitting a little low @ 4200rpm but i think ill leave it there for now, got a sc-12 supercharger that im thinking about bolting up.

where is the pm option? this sight is not like what i am used to, of course being a "greenhorn" takes most of my options away.

Maybe new members can't do it. Try by clicking on the Dual-500 link on the left side of my post, in the signature/moniker area. I'll be glad to post up your pictures on this thread.

not tryin to take over your post or anything but im lookin for some info if anybody could help.

anyways i got into an accident not to long ago in my 2000 gsr, and i got rear end and my frame got bent so im not even gonna bother to fix it but i was wanting to get a 91 4 door civic and swaping my 2000 gsr motor in it since it only has 85,xxx origanle miles on it, and i just did a rebuild 800 miles ago.... yea im pretty pissed about it but it gives me the chance of getting a liter car and one that ive wanted for some time. a 91 civic 4 door.

but anyways i was wondering if it would be worth swapping my gsr motor in the civic and what id need before even trying.

I am running a 91 civic si with the 5 million series jdm b16a vtec, b18 dizzy and gsr TB usdm intake which kinda sucks, trying to find a deal on either skunk2 series or just a true jdm. Been reading allot on the ITB set ups but here in CO its not all that realistic for daily driving. Anyone try or running that set up? and how much response did you really gain after tuning?

And on the wheels, i have a set of enkei light weight 15"s but i really don't care for the ratio it puts my Sir LSD trans, so there up for trades now!

I run a set of "Junkmaster" 15x7 wheels on my '91 hatch. With 195/50-15 tires on it, the circumference is the same as stock. Thus overall gearing ratio is also stock.

The biggest enemy to performance you have up there is altitude. I'd probably have a look at a blower or maybe turbo setup to recover the loss.

My ride isn't tuned per se. I run a socketed and chipped P06 ECU. The chip is a custom P29 map with rev limit raised to 7500 RPM, speed limiter disabled. The chipset came from WinFab Tuning - purchased via eBay. Those guys are easy to work with and will flash you up pretty much whatever you want.

That's why i am leaning toward's the SC-12 supercharger, it's a bit bigger then the SC-14 which everyone runs to when boosting there civics by means of a supercharger, And it produce's a respectable 14psi holds constant through most of the high rpm range, it hits it's curve around 7800-8000rpm which is also nice being 9200rpm is my new set limiter, i try to make sure i shift out at/before 8200rpm the b-series a built to withstand the incredible high revaluations but just like any other motor its all just moving parts relying on the lubrication of oil which you tend to lack volume of after vtec engages.
