new truck

after all the headache with the lancer i decided it was that time.traded it today for a 2000 chevy xtreme 2 door with the stepside.has 91500 miles and runs pretty good.its completely stock vortec 2200 with auto trans(i believe 4l60e)...only plans are to black it out and put a roll pan...all lights,badges,windows and wheels.then throw a sub in it and run it.
tips.input.suggestions???

Nice! I've been wanting one of those for a while now. I'd ditch the pinstriping though. Black out include the wheels? Thats another thing I'd do.

yes the pinstriping will be going.its wierd because i got this truck in the same town that i got the lancer.and they have identical stripes.but the lady said they were less than a year old.it had yellow racing stripes down the center of the entire truck and had she not told me i wouldnt have known.
but yes the wheels are getting blacked out as well..im thinking 5% tint for the rear window and maybe 25% for the fronts.

there is NO room in the engine bay.but ill check into that because it sounds like a great idea lol.
id love to bag it as well but im trying to keep the reliability up.thats why i figure cosmetics would be alright.

going to pick up some oil,plugs,wires,and maybe air filter tomorrow.today im gonna get the stuff to black the lights out...i might leave the headlights until i get HID's just because i dont know how well the light will shine through.and im unsure if i want to black out the fogs..a kid on campus has an xtreme just not stepside and his lights are blacked out other than the fogs and it looks wierd.
for the wheels idk if i want to black out the entire wheel or just the center and polish the lip.

Why not leave the headlights the way they are? I hate it when I can't see someones tailights because they are blacked out.
How is the 2.2 in that thing? I had an 03 zr2 with the 4.3 and it was very under powered.
