so i got into an accident not to long ago in my 2000 gsr, and i got rear end and my frame got bent so im not even gonna bother to fix it but i was wanting to get a 91 4 door civic and swaping my obd2 2000 gsr motor in it since it only has 80,xxx origanle miles on it, and i just did a rebuild 800 miles ago.... yea im pretty pissed about it but it gives me the chance of getting a liter car and one that ive wanted for some time. a 91 civic 4 door.

but anyways i was wondering on exactly what i needed to do and get for the 4 door if i needed anything since i got a complete gsr swap

please and thanx for the help ^_^

Aftermarket motor mounts

Aftermarket engine harness or get self taught how to mate an 4dr EX (or hatch/CRX Si) engine harness with the GSR harness.

OBD1 ECU (not the OBD2 you got) preferable a OBD1 P72 but a chipped one "can" work.

OBD0 to OBD1 jumper harness for ECU.

Cut/weld the b-series shift linkage or aftermarket

90-93 Integra axles are needed from my knowledge but I may be wrong and the ones off the GSR will work.

I suggest aftermarket stuff (like Rywire for the engine harness) but the costs may have you thinking a 92-95 Civic (much easier/cheaper to swap that motor in....for sure)

A few other things that are not coming to mind. But you should look into the prices of the things I mentioned and go from there.

Thanx bro, but i think i might go a different route cuz im kinda on a budget, im just do a ek hatch and swap my motor in

Research....not sure but you might need a 99/00 Civic Si rear trans mount for an EK.

Also.....every EK hatch (besides CTR) does not have a wiring harness for VTEC (not a huge deal but you gotta figure a way to wire it in) And ithe EK engine harness is a one piece so the Integra harness won't work like they do in an EG b/c it's a 2-piece like Integras.

You don't have to buy the wording harness for the ef you can make one or have somebody else make one. The one in my car is homemade and works fine. And you can use the axles out of your car. And I can measure the shift linkage and tell you how much to cut out cus I just did mine not to long ago. The exact same thing happened to me in my Gsr and I went ef and won't ever go back. I love it.

Dead thread...and I already mentioned that he could mate the EF and B-Series harnesses.
