Until recently, your taxes covered your representation. "No Representation without Taxation".
This statement has been translated many times, and it's sorta obscure. Unlike the second amendment, which is clear as day. The government sells it's representation (You) for higher and higher costs. What it chooses to do with the money is up to them, not you. Recently, some Christians and Catholics were against the government for choosing to spend their mandated tax dollars on things that went against their beliefs. But before then, everything was on the sly, and always bordering a moment of objection from the people.
Then the government threatened "Deem it passed" and said such things as "In order to see what's in the bill, you'll have to pass the bill.". That's when I stopped paying taxes. The constitution does outline that you don't have to pay taxes once the representation is missing.
All in all, the government is such a bastardized and convoluted monster (That's the nicest way to phrase it - it's really an utterly destructive, non-american entity at this point) that it's only option is to collapse. There is no hope for recovery. Ron Paul was the clearest choice that we had, and he's so beaten up that he'll never get the vote.
It's sorta like New Orleans, and the damage that was done down there. New Orleans is so damaged that there isn't enough money to repair it, and there is no money in the entire economy to say "It'll be slow". It's destroyed. Plain and simple.
The current system is destroyed. Plain and simple. What rises up next is the biggest issue to deal with now. In order to return to an "american way", we need to ensure that a constitution-based conservativism rises. The powers in control now (Democrat and conservative) are so corrupted that they will bring us right into a european bullshit government - where people are nothing more than commodities used to pay for their expenses.
A few important things for everyone to remember (not political, just american):
Our rights are founded in God for a reason. That's to ensure that no one man, group of men, or anyone can take them away. By founding the rights in a diety that doesn't really exist, we have concreted our position as free men.
The ability to defend ourselves without interruption. As simple creatures on this earth, we have a "god given" right to defend ourselves. Like Ted Nugent said : "Let's say ol' Ted parachutes to the earth for the first time. No one is going to tell me that I am not allowed to defend myself against attack." We currently have a system that allows us ONLY to defend ourselves with technology that pre-dates the 80s. Every new development that comes out in the efforts of self defense is illegalized so that we, as citizens, can't get our hands on it. Only two people fear an armed populace: Criminals and Tyrants.
The laws have to be wiped clean. Right now, just living our lives is so complex that we are going to violate laws on a daily basis. By developing a strong system of laws, we have guaranteed that we are all criminals.
The lawmaker's pay must end. Term limits won't be a problem when the people who make laws aren't paid a single dime for doing what they do. No pay for lawmakers. These guys work other jobs anyway. No more Kennedys. No more elite families. Let the elite just make their money, and let that money alone be their power-base. Lawmakers do nothing, and get paid millions to do it - all while passing laws to prohibit others from making millions to join their ranks. It's bullshit. Our founding fathers were rich too - But not from their jobs as lawmakers. They were farmers, inventors and heads of industry.
We need to get the culture of sleeze out of the way. This means expanding our perception of what people, young and old, need to fully realise their human potential. And yes, my plan of 25 year-old statutory is part of this. Kids need the time to be trained and formed by their parents, and not by a culture of sleeze. The sleeze is what bred the pedophiles, the sexually depraved, and the morally corrupt.
On topic, Law and Money should be divided. Fines are a higher penalty to some than they are to others - due to station in life. If I get pulled over for DWI, it would destroy me. Lindsay Lohan isn't affected. The fines are similar, but her station in life makes the penalty far, far less of a problem. Fewer laws, and jail time instead of fines.
Corporations need to be left alone to live and die. In the 30's TONS of car makers went out of business. From those companies, other companies grew from their fired employees. It's how we got Oldsmobile, Buick and Ford. When the government steps in to give money to a failing company, the long term damage is far, far greater. No more bailouts. Let the market decide who can offer a superior product.
Forcing someone to buy a product or service is tyranny. Plain and simple. Even if it's small, like requiring everyone to buy a box of Kleenex. It's tyranny, and nothing less. Kleenex did just fine by creating a superior product and becoming it's own house-hold name.
Get the government completely out of Marriage. No tax breaks, no legal changes. That will end the whole "Gay marriage" bit in it's tracks. Gays get married not so that their church will bless and endorse their children. They do it to get government benefits. No law prevents two gay people from declaring their permanent love and wearing a ring on their fingers. It's all about government status, and no gay is interested in what the church will or will not endorse (Obviously).
Legalize all medical procedures, including abortions. Recognizing that abortion (as well as other procedures) are what they are. An abortion is killing a baby, as cosmetic surgery is to cure ugliness. (or, create it). Consequences must be dealt with by the individual.
This means tattoos too. If you're covered in tattoos, you shouldn't be able to force anyone into employing you, liking you, or not scoffing at your appearance. Right now, I can't turn someone down for a job because they are loaded with tattoos - even though my business is best represented by those who are not. Legislating tolerance only forces me to turn someone down for other reasons, such as "You're not the right fit". Legislating opinions makes no sense.
I have more, but this isn't my manifesto that I'm posting up here. Review each of those sections, and then take it all in. It's these regulations that cause companies to be so underhanded. They are TOLD, flat out, what they can and can't do. In essence (Just like I do) we find loopholes in the plans so that we can succeed. If I had the money, I would buy a lawmaker. I would buy a judge too. I would buy all sorts of people if I had the money. And I would do this solely because the regulations that are place are setup JUST TO FUCK ME. The companies have responded like this because they exist in a world where they are forced into playing hardball just to get the job done.
And hopefully, you can see the outcome of this as well : Philip Morris, for instance, will setup a tiny little company without the PM name on it, so that they can do certain things that the stigma of being a tobacco company prevents them from doing. (We call this company "KRAFT") . They have done this because the government fights them tooth-and-nail to sell their product, and puts the jobs of tens-of-thousands at risk. (As a side note, The government LOVES tobacco, and will never ban it. They have discovered an addictive product, and instead of fighting it (as they claim to do) they taxed the ever-loving fuck out of it so they make money. More money, in fact, than the tobacco company makes)
In conclusion, We, you, or "they" may bark about the corruption of the private sector, but we ALL must realize that the overall environment created the corruption in the first place.
