went to update my flash on my phone, saw an article that Adobe pulled out of mobile flash, unreal.

Yea.. vids have been a pain in my ass since i updated to ICS.. other flash players but they suck... the oem one for ics kept freezing my browser

Youtube app works great.. its the embedded videos that wont play... still happier than if i had an Apple

I have ICS and have no issues playing vids.

It's probably the sites you are going to that need to be updated.
With html5 and embedded x264, flash is basically obsolete.

Also.. how does html5 work? What is it? Something i would need to setup myself?

HS isn't on html5 yet. We're still using old school tech here. vb is workin on vb5 as we speak. vb4 sucks and we're not going to it but vb5 is looking pretty good. So maybe in a few months there will be a release we can migrate to and have better mobile support. I don't have time like i used to to dedicate to testing things like this out any more with the job and the girl these days...

well.. i installed adobe flash because it didnt come w/ my ICS update on the RAZR.. videos still dont play, but they send me to my youtube app where they work perfectly.. works for me

lol you sound like you've been dating for years :)

i was under the impression that HTML5 wasn't built for the demands of multimedia and wasn't very "portable" from browser to browser....but i read about this a long time ago, maybe it has changed

It was probably an article talking about ie. Ie, like usual, sucks and doesn't support most of it.

wait, B has a girl?

i have been reading a lot reports about missing girls lately.....

im still putting off updating to ICS, think i may do it one day this week.
