Just got back from Moffit. Everyone from work walked down there, lol. There were a ton of people down there. I heard people were stopping on the freeways to catch a glimpse.

Reason #453,768 why CA rocks. ;)

Badass. No flyover in Dallas though- Houston trumps us for that since they have Johnson Space Center. But this made the rounds at work:

Hmm...I wonder why that specific picture would be popular at your office....I wonder

Also....still 2 missles, I thought they were upping it to 6? No hopes of a new top gun :(

Without looking it up, I think AF-0 is one of the developmental airframes. I'm surprised they were carrying any missiles on it at all!

No idea why it would be popular in my office. :D

When do the f-135s start being made? a few co-workers are working on some of the interior programming of the electronics monitoring systems. pretty cool stuff.

Thought F-135 was just the model number for the engine in the F-35. Never even heard talk of a plane with that name.

I was under the impression that inital builds of the 135s were already in production, and that once they had a 'final' version the fan would be replaced on all existing models.

That's what i've heard through my geek friends anyway.
