some sort of high speed chase in arizona
got away from the cops, or so it seemed, choppers were on him
went down a dirt road, pulled what appeared to be a gun from back seat
as they got closer he put gun to right side of head, it appeared he re-racked perhaps, and then just took a face dive in the dirt

A reported carjacking that led to a high-speed chase has ended after the suspect pulled off the road and appeared to shoot himself.
Police had been chasing the suspect for more than an hour through Phoenix. The chase began when he reportedly shot at police.
The suspect had carjacked a red Dodge Caliber and reached speeds of up to 110 mph, MyFoxPhoenix.com reports.
A police air unit helicopter was following the chase overhead, and police had placed organized spike strips in an attempt to stop the suspect.
He was approaching the California border when he pulled off the road and exited the car.
The condition of the suspect is unknown.
condition unknown my ass

How unusual. At least we're not going to pay for the state to incarcerate him for an undetermined period of time.

The big story I don't think was the carjacker offing himself after a chase, it was that it was on live TV. Shep should have known better.

oh no! 110!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do high speed car chases usually top out at commuting speeds? lol

lol yea, I always laugh when I hear that.

the actual video is on worldstar.the anchor got pissed about it.

Hell yea he was. There was definitely a long enough delay between him putting the gun to his head, and pulling the trigger that they could have gotten off before showing it live, but as I have read that it was probably the executive producer that said to stay on until he pulled the trigger.

If I had to stare at a Caliber's interior for any extended length of time I'd probably kill myself too...

man who cares. if there were more people doing this instead of getting incarcerated.... darwin ftw.

God forbid they show nudity on tv. Think of the children.
