Hello peeps this is my deal trying to keep this short, i have a boosted b20b vtec with gsr (p72-2) head. long story short i removed my head and found 2 cracks in my b20b block. since then i have bought 2 ls blocks to make one (spun rod in one). Since i have these blocks and need to remove the crank from one, i think i am going to micro polish and shot peen that one. As for the rods and pistons i have the stock ones but i was thinking about some aftermarket ones but which are good. Also will my gsr head work with ls block REMEMBER this car is boosted. Should i throw a block guard on as well. Now a little about car i received on trade. I am also trying to stick with most i can or have already:

skunk2 intake manifold
450cc inj
b16 tranny
drag ex man w/ 50 trim turbo
blox 68mm
RIV tuned on chrome ecu
2bar map
rebuilding gsr head

if there is anything else you pros need to know please feel free to ask. thanks

ls/b20 blocks are basically the same as far as makig it work with a vtec head. so eveyrthing you've done prior should just bolt right on/copy over. I would highly recommend doing some rods. eagle h-beams are cheap and will support that power level well.
block guards are a scam, avoid.
i wouldn't bother with the crank.... stock is more than enough.

ultimately, you will need to re-tune. no 2 setups are the same, and that is the one thing that will keep you from blowing up or spinning bearings again.

first off thank you B, the only one to respond

so what kind of piston or should i stay with stock.

what about oil /water pump should i take off b20 and or what.

Look at CP for pistons. Or JE.

For pumps, if you have the funds and availability, look for VTEC pieces.
