My ex was at the store and asked if she should buy a Mega Man action figure she found. Well durrr. If it's Mega Man, and not $800 then yeah. So she bought it and brought it home. And it looked like this:
Megaman was still a video game when I was a kid, and there were no PC's in kids rooms like that first commercial, of course Scooby was still kicking ass, and the Flintstones had just started syndication
I was an NES/Genesis kid, then went straight to PC in '96... Gameboy/SNES stuff just doesn't compute with me.
We were a bit too old for Pokemon, too. Pokemon was my little brother and his friend's thing, so we wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. All that Pokemon stuff on Reddit is absolutely foreign to me.
