BJ took longer than I thought it would...

The smell of spent gunpowder
The smell of racing fuel and tire smoke
Finishing fixing and/or modding something on a car after going through a bunch of shit to get there (fuck you, engineers!)
Hot shower on a cold rainy day
Of course all things bacon
NOT getting pulled over anytime I see a cop
Getting off with a warning when I do get pulled over
The warm feeling of the sun when you open the front door
Flying

That's what comes to mind right now. Definitely more, and as said before the list of things I hate would be a mile long. lol

Just a reminder this thread isn't in the NWS section. Keep it safe.

No contribution Reiko? Lame.

I didn't mean for this to be NWS at all. Simple things that we enjoy. I find it interesting to see what other small things in life people enjoy.

Waking up to the sound of race cars
campfires/bonfires
driving around on a nice day

and wtf is Desk Pop?

im going to throw some previously mentioned into mine...

-race track smell/feel
-65 degrees w/ a slight breeze
-a nice clean house(everything wiped down,vacuumed,organized)
-washing my car
-being able to explain things i know to people that dont know....and them actually appreciating
-SNOW,real snow.where it falls all day and night, accumulates and i can enjoy it without working in it.
-when its really cold in your room, but under the blankets its perfect sleeping temps.

I know it sounds corny, but here we go:

Night rides on a sport bike.
Foggy rides on any bike.
Being able to afford something that I want, versus need.
Setting up a shot at the range with a scope, taking minutes to align it - focusing and NAILING the target.
A good hair day, complete with straight pigtails.
The perfect gear shift - sounds, catching the powerband, a smooth and surprising acceleration.
The perfect drift.
My commute (It's pretty neat, and not common)

1. Wife coming back after a long time out of town.
2. Figuring something ultra complicated out after others have failed.
3. Relaxing on a Sunday with a beer and a football game.
4. That first drag of a cigarette (yeah, the cravings are still there).

....Realized have a really sad life....

new bed sheets....

hearing "OMG you're amazing as she walks like a cripple to the bathroom" seriously it's a true story bro.

  1. New Socks
  2. Smell of fresh cut grass
  3. Watching a struggling student finaly "get it"
  4. First run on the corduroy at my local hill
  5. That lack of feeling you get when you hit the sweet spot on a 400' home run.
  6. Adjusting my back after not being able to
  7. Doing random acts of kindness
  8. Cold beer on the water
  9. Breaking 100, then 90, then possibly 80 on your home course
  10. Watching your friends enjoy your home cooked/grilled meal
  11. Realizing you do know what you are talking about.....
Probably more but that's enough for now.

1. Strapping in for the first run of the year.
2. Snowboarding in general.
3. Feeling a knot get worked out as I get a massage.
4. Enjoying some vodka or bourbon neat.
5. Trying a new beer and having it taste amazing.
6. First bite of a nice cut of meat, cooked rare.
7. Windows down, cigarette in hand, just cruising.
8. The smell of low tide after a spring rain.
9. "The Arch" (Hall Pass reference)
10. Leaving work knowing I'm off for a few days.

lol at the cripple walk :D

I laugh to myself with pride over my wife's cripple walk and get in trouble for it. "You bastard! My legs!" :)

I've got a few that come to mind right now:

-The sound of a racquetball bouncing. God I love that sound.

-The sound of closing my car door in the underground parking garage at work when there are no other cars. Such a deep, rich, rumbling echo. I usually close my door 3 or 4 times when I get the chance to be there when it's empty, just to listen to it. I'm sure the security guys watching me on camera think I'm some kind of OCD freak. :)

-My wife's sense of humor. First thing that comes to mind is her mentioning thongs a few days ago: "I don't like wearing these all day long. They... invade the mountains and valleys."

Watching the sunrise over the water, sitting on my boat.

Completing a difficult job that took a lot of blood, sweat, tears.

The sound (and feel) of the turbo spooling and blowing off in my integra.

Landing a big fish, not just any big fish... something significant. Like your biggest largemouth bass, or any number of large saltwater species that you really have to BATTLE, preferably on light tackle.

My lay z boy recliner, with a pillow, a nice buzz, a beer in hand, tv remote in the other, and the AC vent blowing right on me.

The smell of some serious southern bbq ribs over an open flame.
