like the title says... looking for a full motion wall mount for a 40" LCD .. i dont want some cheap crap thats gonna drop the tv on the floor, but i also dont have $150-200 to spend.. more like $40-60.. maybe a little more... if any of you know of a good site with some good deals let me know... woot just had something for wall mounts but i slept on it and now the event is over

btw.. woot-off!!

yea.. found some on Amazon.. cant trust reviews tho.. some say they're great, some say their tv fell off the wall... just wondering if anyone here had first hand experience with a certain brand or model

I can't recommend any particular brand. I've probably mounted 15-20 tvs and used rocketfish, sanus, and the cheap walmart brands and they all work well.

If someone's tv fell off the wall I'd chalk it up to user error.

Typically the ones that fell off the wall are not installed right to begin with. Hanging TV's is part of my summer job and I have hung Tvs on both really expensive ones and really cheap ones. Typically the difference is in their ability to keep a TV level once its mounted and its ability to be tilted, rotated, etc. I have never (knock on wood) had an insurance claim for one coming off the wall.....

i need full motion where i'm mounting it.. well, dont really need a full motion.. need more than a tilt though... its gotta be able to turn left/right

I have a sanus on my 30" monitor in my office. been holding it for like 3 years now without issue. 1 stud.

I built that corner unit. I really like the setup, you can point it anywhere.

If i had to put it in a corner i would have gone w/ a single stud mount... but its on a plenty big wall so i opted for the multi stud mount for a few dollars more
