So my wife had blackberry through work and they use ATT. Where we now live its pretty hard for her to hold conversations. She looses calls.
Two weeks ago her work switched to the Iphone 4S. Now she can't even have a conversation, period. She has been using my work blackberry while at home, which is on Verizon.
Neither of us has had a land line for the past 6-7 years. I wasn't about to pay $25 or more a month for a land line so she can talk on the phone at home. So, i told her to look into the Magic Jack we see all the time on the commercials. After doing research on it and reading reviews she decided to get one. it came in today.
It's pretty nice. Calls are very clear and it was a snap to set up and $20 A YEAR it was a no brainer to try it out. They have a risk free trial for 60 days. Day 1, so far so good.
If anyone was thinking of getting one, so far i would definitely recommend it.
We got the one where you just plug it into the wall and run the line from the phone and an Ethernet cord from a router into the device. Works like a charm.
