Find away to cover the payroll tax hike coming, to again, fuck the middle class up the fucking asshole with a big fat black rubber dildo.

Not a resolution, but I want to get down below 200lbs again. I'm already down to 220 from 230. A new job seems to always be on my list. That will allow me to move out of my parents house. But these aren't resolutions. They're all goals I set awhile back.

buy a house.
fix my car
buy a beater civic
find a new job.

these are all goals i have, not actually resolutions

Mostly be a better person. Learn something new and do more activities and less talking about doing activities.

Save more money, pay off the rest of my short term debt and lose 20.

id like to get in better shape, but at this point in time i dont have the will-power to do so.

you can start with little things... instead of soda grab a glass of water. instead of elevators or escalators use stairs. little changes. its making BIG changes, that keep folks from following through.

ehhh i disagree. those little changes will reflect very little results. when people don't see results fast enough, that's when they give up.

There is really only 1 way to get in shape and it all involves hard work and sacrifices. Eating right 5-6 times a time to increase your metabolism and working out with weights. Cardio is good to keep your heart healthy and to burn calories while you are working out but that's about it. Weight lifting and high metabolism is the only way you are going to get in shape. You'll continue to burn calories after you are done weight lifting and with a high metabolism you'll burn even more.

My buddies never do cardio and they are ripped out of their minds and eat for 2 people througout the day and do tough mudders, iron mans marathons etc. They can eat a whole pizza and loose weight the next day. it's insane

not everyone has time to do those things. my biggest problem with going to the gym to work out was going there at 7pm and not settling down after a long day until after 830-9pm. then having to go to sleep shortly after so i can get up at 6am to start my day again.

i went to the gym for 3 months and did not notice many changes on the outside, but inside i felt much better which alone made it worth it enough for me. i was also able to lose 15 lbs. we're again working on moving so i did not renew my membership and instead used that money to get ahead on my bills that would be coming up within the next 2 months. i will rejoin a gym after we move.

so even if you dont see results, the little things can help you feel better everyday.

you definately do not need to go to the gym to lift weights. There are tons of exercises with dumbbells and a house chair you can be doing in 45 minutes 4 days a day. Most everyone has 45 minutes to work out. if you say you don't then you really just don't want to do it.

I couldn't disagree more with you. There are more ways than one to get into shape. There isn't a magic formula to follow but a range of activities and lifestyles that will warrant results.

i got a gym membership to GTFO of the house. you know - circuits, cardio, swimming pool, someone to show me proper form. things that i cant do or get at home. sure, we can get freeweights which are cheap or free but it is the rest of the experience that was most helpful to me.

i'll never be that guy in the video and honestly i dont want to be.

There is absolutely a formula and its not magic, it's common knowledge. It's called eating right and working out.

Please don't think that if you stop drinking soda and take the stairs that you are going to loose weight. it has absolutely zero effect. it's a fact.

In order to loose weight you need to burn more calories then you take in ..thats a fact. if you stop drinking soda but still eat 4 pieces of pizza with water, a bagel and cream cheese, chips and then sit on the couch for 4 hours watching America Idol and other garbage on TV you will never loose weight or be in shape.

Fact: The more muscles you have the more calories you will burn even just standing around.

You need to eat the right foods, and the right amount: the reason why you always hear this is A: to get the right vitamins and minerals your body needs and B: because eating often increases your metalbolism.

Ask any body builder who doesn't do steroids how much they eat a day and how often. And ask them how much cardio they do. I bet you will get a very common answer.

Im not saying people should try to be body builders when they work out. but strength training 2-3 times a week along with the right diet will get you to where you want to be And if you want to be more muscler, then heavier weight training is needed.

You will never see any results by simply not drinking soda and taking the stairs.....again, cardio type stuff is good for the heart to be healthy but its not going ot help you loose the amount of weight most people are looking to loose.

this isn't anything new people
