now the libtards are going to ban the xgames

The article never actually said anyone wanted to ban them. Frankly, you can't. Then you'd have to ban all high-risk behavior. Drinking, smoking, etc. Hell, jay walking would become a felony.

When was the last time you were in NYC ? You're like 10 miles from it.

They can pass all the laws they want. They don't have the ability to enforce them. Drinking will go back to bath tub gin, cigarettes will be another product of the cartels, and the X games will go back to passed around DVDs. You can't stop all people from doing what they want.

And the last time I was in NYC I was brown bagging it on the street, while a friend smoked a joint, while we jay walked to cross the street in the Village. Politicians can pass the laws, cops will still only enforce the ones they feel are important enough.

i'd dare you to try that if you were black... just saying :shrug2:

sounds like its been a tough year at the x games
Moore's brother Colten, another X Games competitor, also crashed and separated his pelvis last week; a skier suffered a fractured spine and a snowboarder had a concussion. Another snowmobiler wrecked and his vehicle accelerated toward the crowd, injuring a boy and crashing into a catch fence.

Don't forget that the President doesn't like football, and wouldn't let his son play because it's too dangerous.

At the right time of the night, nearly everyone on the Lower East Side is brown bagging. All colors, creeds, religions, orientations, sinning and breaking laws together. Honestly, can't even tell you the last time I saw a cop in that neck of the woods. Of course, I wouldn't do any of that near MSG or Times Square. Cops are everywhere in those spots.

I'm pretty sure he loves football but said he would be apprehensive about letting a hypothetical son play it. It's one of those answers a lot of parents give. Guarantee if he had a boy and he was pushing to play because he liked the game, it would happen. You're talking about someone that loses teeth playing basketball on a weekly basis.

My mom held me out until I was in 6th grade for this reason. Guess what I did? Blew out my knees. Then broke my hip. This isn't news.

I feel like Vin Diesel in Babylon AD whenever I go into New York City.

Jesus, were you 80 in the 6th grade ?

its crazy that he walked off the crash more or less and then dies later.

this is why its important to always get checked out, even if you feel fine, after a crash, etc.

damn.. A friend of mine who also did this kind of stuff on snowmobiles broke his back a few years ago. Can barely walk with a cane. His full time job is now going around the world as a motivational speaker for people with back injuries.

A friend of mine picked up a fuel hose to refuel an aircraft, almost passed out, I had to run to catch him. He blew it off, stayed in pain for 6 months, the doctors couldn't find anything. Then they did a bone density scan for a injection shot, found he had a fractured spine, then they replaced it. Then they found bone cancer, all over his body.... removed some, and then radiation..... he now has a hernia where they removed one of his ribs to get to the spine, and has to complete chemo before they can go back in and fix it.

My dad just died last year from Thyroid cancer....

Another one of my buddies had to fight to have a shoulder worked on, he finally had the operation, and they just looked at him yesterday...and he has cancer now all over.

My wife has MS, and she has to go by herself Thursday, because my passport is expiring Feb 16th which I can't go, to Japan to visit her grandmother who just had her 3rd stoke, and is in ICU and is in a coma.

I'm not doing so well myself, I had DVT a few years ago, I'm still 50 lbs overweight, I know I'll die eventually...so I just hope it's quick and somewhat painless.

One more buddy is just falling apart, and as the news plays everyday...the world is falling apart... I kinda don't want to make friends anymore....because I hate to see them die before I do.

Everyone wonders why I refuse to carry my cell phone in a pocket or close to my body...

There are people here who use their cell phone 40+ hours a month, I know because I review the bills. They're going to have brain cancer in a few years.

My dad on the other hand, is 61, but the doctors don't understand how he looks like he's 45.

I guess I never have my cell phone on my person if I think about it. At work its on a desk about 3-5 feet away in my office.

At home its on a night stand or end table. In my car, its in a cubby. Only time its in my pocket is if I'm going be somewhere and even then only 1/2 the time I actually remember to take it out of my car. I don't like talking on the phone as I do it all day.

Interesting.....

Diet has more to do with it than cell phone useage.
