I have a Non- VTEC SOHC ZC. Its burning oil, so i know it needs a rebuild. my question are: Where can i get the rebuild kit? Should i go with Stock gaskets? if not which would be best. n also what to parts to consider for a future turbo?

I would spend the money on a quality rebuild kit like a fel-pro, victor reinz, or oem parts. Also get a cometic head gasket and a set of arp head studs. If you are thinking about serious turbo power than you may want to get a set of forged rods and pistons as well.

Yes that gasket and stud kit will work fine. They are the same ones i used in my brothers 91 si.

Ebay can be a great source for forged rods and pistons. also check out summit an jc whitney.

Allot of the people on here have used eagle h beam rods with good results but my local machine shop claims they are junk.

You can also look into pauter, scat, or many other brands as well. It really depends on what your budget is.

Also beware that with some aftermarket rods you will have to clearance the block a little to clear the beefier rods.

You still will need a standard rebuild kit or you will need to piece together all the bearings, seals, and gaskets to re assemble the engine.

You might want to consider a new timing belt kit, water pump, and oil pump.

i call local honda shop n see if they have a standard kit. should i get timing belt kit water pump n oil pump from them or go aftermarket?

in all honesty, just the route id go, id just pick up a non-smoking d16a6 and throw the zc cam in it , its the only difference

I myself use gates racing timing belts, but oem or regular gates belts are good as well. For water pumps aftermarket is fine as long as you go new and not rebuilt. The warranty claim rate on rebuilt water pumps are way to high IMO. For the oil pump oem honda is a good way to go.

I know nothing about this brand so I would be very skeptical about it. It looks to be a cheap rebuilder kit made for cheap machine shops
