Prally not what you were thinkin, but here it is lol.

Fit Hawk V1 frame, Shadow bars and forks, Profile cranks and hubs, lots of Odyssey parts. Waitin to hear back from a company in the UK on a stem, the last part I need. Basically been spendin a few years buildin the dream bike from when I was a kid.

I decided to finish it off cause I just got my son his first bike. Now Ill have somethin to ride with him lol.
 
I would love to get a bmx bike. I want to ditch one of my mountain bikes and buy one.

I hope so. I was really into black and red when I started buying parts. Now Im really diggin black and chrome/polished. Naw, I dont know how to lace wheels. Ive got a friend that I usta ride with that works at a local bike shop though, hes gunna build em for me.

Ya me too lol. Figured I might as well get it done before summer so I can actually ride it. Otherwise Ill just loose interest for another year lol.

Ive always had BMX bikes, never mountain bikes. Always wanted a downhill bike, but couldnt afford one. Im halfway thinkin about selling this one and gettin a race bike. This thing aughta roll pretty sweet though, and Im just buildin it to cruise parks with the family lol.
 
I was so into BMX until I got my first car. I definitely got sidetracked. Hell, I left my built Haro Backtrail at college when i moved home. Told my friends they could do whatever with it.

Maybe i should look into building one again. It's a hobby I could actually afford!

Lol same thing happened with me. Gettin parts for this one has been so much fun. Gettin all the stuff I really want, not just what gotta have to get the bike rollin.

Dropped my wheel parts off for my buddy to build. Hes very particular about how he builds wheels. Im excited to see how they turn out.
 
Well, Ive been tryin to get a hold of someone at BSD (the UK company) but they wont reply anymore. Communication wasnt a problem while I got everything setup but now that funds are in PayPal, I cant get a reply. Too bad, I really really like their stems. But anyways, I ordered my second choice. An S&M Redneck XLT in polished finish. Should be here next week.

Still waitin on the wheels. Should be done in the next day or two.

Ive got most of my parts from Dans Comp, and the customer service is great. Got a few free T-shirts for makin minimum orders, got some calendars too. Had to call to order spokes because I didnt know what lengths I needed, just told em what I had and they got me setup. Would recommend them, if they have what you need.
 
Why did you waste money on the brake if its just a cruiser? your foot lodged into the rear forks will always stop you and even skid.

I think we all did. My mom used to complain all the time about all the spare bike frames I had laying around the garage. Even my best friend who now collects car parts with me to this day had ton's of frames and parts laying around. Every now and then we toy with the thought of getting another one and just going for rides. Plus we need the exercise.
 
That would mean I have to stand up, balance on one foot and go through the trouble of lifting the other and lodging it in the tire. Or just lift a finger, and squeeze a lever. Im lazy. Need I say more?

Oh yea. Parts everywhere. In fact, when I started tinkering with the car, my mom made a point to say I couldn't collect parts again. That idea lasted long...

I could use the exercise too.
 
My dad predicted that, he tried to be strict and against it, but years later joined my friends and I and started collecting some parts himself. Now he's just old and lazy with his 09 Sentra.
 
Is it a long frame? If not why no offset seat post? Or are you a short guy and dont have the worries of knee tap on the bars?
 
About 5'8" its a 20" TT. Ive always liked short frames. Usually run a steep head tube with the bars and forks parallel and its always been the most comfortable. Long TT's just dont work for me.
