Wife's lease was coming up on the Rogue. She is going to drive my Infiniti and im getting a new Titan SV Premium.

Nissan had great incentives. Waived all damage to the Rogue and the 3400 miles over. Got about 7k in rebates.

Picking it up tomorrow night. Got red this time.

it really is amazing how much i missed having a truck especially now owning a house. I've needed one at least a dozen times now.

Nice truck, I could never use a 4-5 foot bed. a 6.5 is too short for me sometimes. Do the 13s get better gas mileage than your old one
 
Yeah I agree on the bed length, especially if you're gonna be using it to haul shit for the house. Drywall, plywood, dimensional lumber, stuff of that nature is tough.
 
I just hate that my queen sized mattress is 2 inches too long from me being able to shut the tail gate. Sometimes I think a 8' would be better but I like the looks of a short bed 6.5' so much better. With the tailgate down on a 6.5 drywall, plywood aren't bad to put in there.
 
The Bed is 5'6 and its plenty for what i need it for. Bringing outdoor power equipment for service, dump runs, mulch, fire wood, fishing equip etc...

But yeah if i was a carpenter or contruction worker i would want the longer bed.

Not sure about the gas mileage yet, i guess we will see. Can't imagine it would be worse than the 9MPG i was getting.

2015 Titan should be interesting. It's going to have a new design and more engine options.
 
I'm surprised you went back to what you had before. No tundra or too expensive?

I loved my Titan don't get me wrong. Was an awesome truck, had no complaints. Went back to it just out of conveinence of my wife having the Rogue to give back and the deals we were offered. The truck came out to about 42k+ im sure i've could have found a nice Tundy for that lol

Not sure Toyota could have gotten us that kind of deal i got though.

42k is a deal? that's more than I paid for an m3.... just sayin. lol hey, good luck with the truck. I know its a basically necessary item when owning a house.
 
If the gas mileage isn't great i would get a toneau cover it helped in my truck gave me about 2 more mpg

no no no. 42k was sticker price,, i got like 7k in rebates and trade in assistance. Thats why i said not sure Toyota could have done that with trading in a Nissan. got some Nissan loyatly cash, st patty day event cash and Titan rebates

truck is definitley a must. hell, just to get my snow blower serviced is was $150 to pick it up and drop it off each time from the local power equipment company. Fire would is much cheaper if your willing to load it your self. same with mulch etc...

And when you say they waived the damage and the overage, did they really cover it or just roll it into the truck?

One thing about dealers is they rarely do something out of the goodness of their heart. There's always an end game.
 
Right on man. I'm very jealous. I can't wait to make saturdays out of going to the dump for my own place and getting beers on the way home. :)

And the size of cans we have in seattle is a joke. Like 2 garbage bags worth. But my recycling service is TOP notch. HUGE recycle bin. We actually rarely fill up the garbage bin these days.

When I was remodeling the house I just rented a dumpster for the awkward stuff. The city is actually really good about taking most anything as long as it's reasonably orderly at the curb.
