Made the deal on Tuesday, my neighbor delivered it to the house on Wednesday, with a 6 pack of Fat Tire buckled into the passenger seat. Signed all the paperwork over a beer at my kitchen table.

3 year lease (technically 35 months as the dealer covered all the upfront costs, including the first payment), 12000 miles/yr and the payment came out to 282 + tax.

After a few days of driving it back and forth to work, I'm pretty impressed. I'm gonna need a day to screw around and figure out all the voice commands and infotainment stuff. My only complaint is that we haven't been able to figure out the goddamn homelink garage door remote. We have the same problem with the minivan, which is also a Chrysler product. I suspect the issue is on the Genie end of things though. Gonna try to figure it out tomorrow when I have more time.

It's not gonna be good on gas, but I only work a 4 day week, and my wife has a 12 mile round trip commute so we'll do some trading off. The power is impressive. Not sure if it's just because I'm accustomed to a 110 hp, no torque civic, but 370/395 makes quite a difference. If you need to merge onto the freeway or pass someone, you just hit the gas and it's done.

I'm interested to get some opinions from you import snobs, good or bad.

i think there fun cars. my dad has an r/t challenger and i love driving that thing! tons o fun for sure. i like the new tail lights on the chargers to

They are fun, and drive well. The feel pretty solid and smooth, iirc. Only downside to me... im not sure about the brand new ones, but i didnt like the way the interior feels/looks on the older Charger RTs. Personally i dont think i would want a car that big, either.

...did you put the $3000 down?

not a fan of those.... but i bet it feels nice to have a nice new shiny car with a warranty.... hope you enjoy it....try not to get pulled over lol

I like the way those look, but, I'm not sure about your area, but down here the cops use the chargers, so any time somebody sees those headlights in their rearview, they go slow as balls.
Good luck with that. Lol.

Well. Thought about this today because I'm finally taking this thing in for an oil change tomorrow. New cars and all this electronic babysitting. Sitting at 8200 miles and the change oil light has yet to come on. Honestly it's a lease so I don't care, but I've been seeing less miles per tank the last couple fill ups so it's time. Need to get the tires rotated as well and it's too cold to do it myself so just gonna do it.

The car has been trouble free. The sound system is fantastic for factory audio, and generally speaking I get around 20 mpg with mostly freeway driving. I've made one trip that was strictly highway and the trip computer came back at 23.5 with the cruise set at 80.

I've gotten a bunch of compliments on the car, which I didn't expect, and even had some old guy honking at me driving down the street after I had washed and waxed it giving me the thumbs up.

Someone mentioned the interior, and a couple coworkers have pre 2012 models with the older instrument cluster, and it's night and day to the newer design. It's an 8" touchscreen, with built in bluetooth and a plug and play ipod controller in the unit.

As far as dislikes, I would say no manual trans, although in manual mode the transmission WILL NOT upshift on it's own, so if you desire to drive it to work in first gear at 50, you can. Also, it's too quiet. It needs to sound like a V8, and unfortunately it doesn't. A nice rumble when it starts, but really nothing else.

Winter is around the corner, so we'll see how it does on a snow covered freeway commute.

Yeah the state police here drive them, and many of the local departments are adopting them as well. For sure I've had a few people slow down or get over in the morning when they can't clearly see the color. They have a lighter blue but when it's dark I imagine it's hard to tell.

On all four corners I'll add. I always shake my head when I see a car with all seasons on the non drive wheels and studs on the drive wheels.

You can also chalk up some of the fuel economy drop to the temp change/change in fuel mixture. I watched my economy go from 55-60 to 49 as of right now. :(

i know i slow when i see these cars unmarked or those new ford Taurus's as the local city uses em in unmarked/marked variations.
