Ok I have a 1999 civic coupe with a swapped motor 97 (d16y8)
I had a knock sensor cuircut code come up I replaced sensor but code intermittently still comes on..I think it's a bad wire somewhere so upon looking I noticed 2 wires spliced into the red blue striped wire leading into ECM one thick blue wire and a small brown white striped wire. Is this right?? I thought only knock sensor was to be direct to sensor/ECM?
