Just as i became inspired to do some digital painting, i notice the fuckin trackpad on my laptop has stopped working. I'm just glad i have my madcatz xbox 360 controller and xpadder so my computer isnt completely useless.

Basically the reason i started this thread is to see if anyone here has any advice or suggestions on getting the trackpad working again... Never had this happen before... im hoping i can just re-install the driver

sledgehammer usually works good. but on serious note idk good luck lol. i use my drawing pad sometimes as a mouse

there is usually a Fn+key combo that will toggle it off and on

Do you have the option set on your driver to "disable trackpad when external device is present" ?

Start at the beginning, what model / brand computer do you have? I'm sure it's just reinstalling a driver. It's happened before on my Samsung Chronos Series 7.

thats actually NOT a stupid question... i never thought of that, and it turns out that was the issue. I'm guessing one of my sister's kids might have smacked the fn f7 combo.
