So, the swagger wagon:

Ol' girl got smashed up a bit unfortunately, so I'm now stuck with the task of fixing her. I figure I'm gonna have to do paintwork on it anyways, might as well strip the car and fix all the dings and repaint the whole damn thing.

Why the fuck not?

Insurance covered the damages, and one of my customers does amazing paintwork and owes me a paintjob for some work I did on one of his cars, so I don't have to do anything but drop it off, pick it up, and then put all the trim back on. I went ahead and pulled all the removable trim, and it'll be on its way to paint in the next few days.

I'm not going to jamb the car out (paint the door jambs, inside the hatch, under the hood, etc), but I don't want to keep silver. Realistically, and in my opinion, anything light enough won't look bad with silver jambs, so I'm not worried about it.

I'd initially decided on Audi's Aviator Grey:

...but part of me kinda wants to do it a light Lamborghini blue (officially called 'Celeste Phoebe'):

And then, of course, there's the possibility that there's some other awesome color I haven't even thought of.

Trim's staying black, wheels are staying black, roof rack is staying on. I'm toying with the idea of adding carbon splitters on the front:

...or even a full carbon lip:

...but on the other hand, it's not a fuckin' race car, and I don't have a functional use for them. They do look kinda cool though.

Thoughts?

I think the white that is on the pictured BMW is good. White with black trim is very good looking in my opinion.

I was gonna say Laguna Seca blue... but then i read door jambs arent getting painted... out of what u listed.. Aviator Grey

This is the shop car correct? It should show what kind of work u do. I would paint the jambs at least and go LSBlue

The dark Audi color is a bit of a joke around the camp. The color is supposedly "Panzer Grey" ... but that wouldn't go over too well in most markets.

It sparked off a major conversation in the model-building community about the color "Panzer Grey". You see, NO ONE is more anal about details and facts than scale-modelers.

So after months of boisterous research, someone actually uncovered what "Panzer Grey" is. It's a very, very, very dark grey. Almost black.

And I think it's time someone saw Panzer Grey on a BMW. And I think it's time the daily dialect included the term "Panzerwagen"

Either the color of the SLS in the above pic or m3 blue. Or the shit brown color Mercedes uses on the new ML's. Or something.
