i have been wearing the same ole pair of electrics for 5 or 6 years now and they are beat to fuck and Im ready to shop for somhting else. i want to get polarized lenses for sure.

what do ya'll prefer?

i have been lookin at things like this, although this is at the VERY top of what i want to spend Oakley Polarized TwoFace | Official Oakley Store and its irritating that they dont give you a case with you 200 glasses!
Jackie got a pair of wiley x brand when she was filming for the show (sponsor swag) and they are pretty nice so i was also looking at this model

Costa del mar. They make about 80 different frame styles. If you can afford it get the glass 580 lenses, they are amazing, dont scratch, they actually make it feel like you can see better.

Go to a store that has a nice selection of frames, try them on to pick one that fits you perfect. Then go online and look at what choices in lense type, color, and frame colors they offer for that frame. I have been wearing costas for a decade or more and nothing else compares. I work outside on the water sweating my ass off every day and they stay put, and take years to get worn out.

Just realized the ones you posted above are almost identical to the Jupiter Squared. I got mine on Amazon for like $80. Should have got Polarized for the additional $50.

Yea polarized is a must. Its the main reason I'm getting new shades so out would be dumb to not get it

Yeah my fishing shades are some old smith's that are polarized. Critical.

I'm liking these. The glass puts me slightly over what i wanted to spend but I'm ok with that considering i will get glass instead of plastic

I have the numa point ballistic that I got at cabellas on the clearance rack one day when I was walking at lunch and couldn't see a damn ting.

they are a bit 'glocoma glasses' in shape but they are pretty comfortable. and reasonably priced, and may save your eye.

I really like REVO..i;m rocking the Overhangs in Brown...very light weight

Revo

+1 on REVOs. I do a lot of fly fishing so my glasses have to be polarized. I have 2 pairs of the Guide model. They're fairly big though, so if you have a small head they may look ginormous.

I also have a couple cheap pairs of Suncloud glasses. I have them in case I don't want to wear my Guides cause I don't want them to get messed up. Suncloud is made by Smith Optics, and I feel like you get the Smith quality, without the Smith pricetag.

Goggles. Done.

Im telling you man, everyone I know that has put on a pair of my 580 costas is like "whoa". I have tried a few different color lenses in them, and the green mirror is the best for fishing visibility. Whats really cool about the 580 lenses is how they cut the yellow light that harshes your eyes, and all the natural colors looks so much richer. I know it sounds lame, but seriously, you've never seen grass so green.

The pig tails, knee pads... it all makes sense now. I can imagine why you need the goggles.

I wear some polarized Metal Mulisha sunglasses. Can't remember the model. They're nice. Great style. But next time I'll go for some higher end examples and glass is a must. My dog chewed on these soon after I got them and scratched em up pretty good. :(

Oh wait. Remember the model now. Empire Polarized.

Also they're a lot darker than they seem in the picture.

every couple of months the sunglass kiosk in the mall will have a $5 sale, so i buy a few pairs.

they are the darkest lens i can find, which i find awesome bc of headaches and migraines.
and they are only $5, so when i break them or lose them, i dont care.

i wish i could find a lens just as dark but polarized, but every polarized lens i find is way too light. if locs made this same style with polarized lenses that were just as dark, i would be in love. but it appears that the ones that are, arent as dark.

Goggles. Done.

Here you go cel these are way cooler than you're goggles http://www.wileyx.com/EcommSuite/Pr...Code=175&ProductLine=425,SPEAR&ItemCode=SP29B

I tried on a buddies revos yesterday and i liked them allot. Really light and comfortable. I'm gonna try and find a store that has wiley x, revo, and the Costas. Right now the Costas are at the front because of the glass but in the end it will come down to comfort.

how do the 580p lenses compare to the 580g? theres a frame i really like that only comes with plastic

I wear goggles because I also have a prescription. Motorcycle goggles fit over most eyeglasses. I have a pair of script Bausch&Lombs, and pair of something cheap and shitty from Walmart as a goggle wrap.

the goggle wrap is great, but do you know what prescriptions look like in a wrap around ?

I have an increased field of vision. Like a fuckin cyborg. I wear them when I'm on the bike because they fog like a mofo.

That goggle pic was taken like 4 years ago.

Of course. I buy $12 goggles and they last me YEARS. Those goggles were old in the first pic.
